Sop-Dieët
















This diet comes from “Sacred Memorial Hospital” and is used to speed up weight loss in overweight

heart patients.

 

Basic Soup:

900gr tomatoes

1 bunch celery

6 large onions

2 Tins green beans

2 beef stock cubes

1.5kg carrots

1 packet white onion soup

1 green pepper

Spice with salt, pepper and parsley

Cut vegetables in small blocks and cover with stock (+/- 3 litres of water) as well as packet of soup. Cook on high for 10 min and lower temperature so that it simmers. Allow simmering until veggies are soft. Eat the soup when you are feeling hungry. East as much as want, when you want. The soup will not add calories. The more you eat the more you will lose. You may drink unsweetened tea and coffee. If you add milk, it has to be fat free.

 

Very important

No Bread / No Alcohol / No gas cool drinks / No diet cool drinks

 

Day 1

Only eat soup and fruit. Any fruit except bananas.

 

Day 2

Only eat soup and veggies – not fruit. Eat as much as you like. No beans, peas or corn. Reward yourself tonight with a baked potato in butter.

 

Day 3

As much soup, fruit and veggies as you want. Don’t eat potatoes (by this time you should have lost 2-3kg’s if you have not cheated).

 

Day 4

Eat soup, bananas and fat free milk. Eat at least 6 bananas. Bananas have high calorie and carbohydrate content. By this time your body would need these foods to fight the cravings.

 

Day 5

Eat soup, steak & tomatoes. You may have 500gr steak and 4-6 tomatoes.

 

Day 6

Eat soup, veggies and steak. You may eat as much as you can – no baked potato.

 

Day 7

Eat soup, brown rice and veggies as much as you want. You may drink unsweetened fruit juice.

By this time you should have lost x-amount of weight if you haven’t cheated. You can continue with the diet as long as you like. This diet has been created to burn fat quickly and to rid your body from toxins. It is absolutely healthy. It is used for heart patients before operations. It is important that you stop the diet at least 24hrs before any alcohol intake.

If desired, you can swap the steak days with fish or chicken.

The more soup you eat, the more weight you lose.
